Attack Computer Wiz

A Security & Technology Weblog

For an operating system that cannot get virus's I find it very odd that Apple would release daily malware definition checks to their Mac OS X operating system. Of course it is true that Apple does not get virus's, right? Or at least that is what the 'experts' over at Best Buy will tell every one.

Fact is, just like any OS out there, they can, and they do get virus's and they are affected by malware. It is recommended that you protect all systems, including Mac OS X, with an anti-virus product form a reputable vendor. Don't bother looking to hard in the Apple Store though, you probably won't find many, after all, Mac's don't get virus's.
