Facebook has announced that it has revamped the Groups feature within their social networking site. This overhaul will allow you to create groupings of friends to send updates and posts to. This grouping will allow you to the ability to send topic specific updates to only specified groups rather then your entire friend list.
For instance; if you are on vacation and want to send close family and friends ongoing updates, you can group them and send the group your updates. Another good example of group use would be a group of your friends that like to listen to you complain about how terrible Monday's are, your job is, what you ate for dinner, or that you just won 500 chips in the latest Farm Ville Town Mafia Poker War, yay! (You know who you are!)
