A Security & Technology Weblog

Google has just released its newest ‘beta’ application. Google translate for animals is an Android application which is undoubtedly going to bridge the language gap between animals and humans.

Using speech recognition and translation engines designed by Google, they are able to analyze the neural biological acoustics and compare it with the millions of animal sounds in their animal linguistics database. Once this processing is completed, seemingly within seconds, the animal sounds are translated into plain English.

To develop this ground breaking technology Google worked closely with some of the worlds most notable language synthesis teams and some of the leaders in the field of animal cognitive linguistics.
