If you are a California resident and want to further your knowledge of Microsoft products you now have an opportunity to join Microsoft’s ‘Elevate America’ program. This program offers training vouchers to residents that are good for free online training direct from Microsoft. They will also be handing out free test vouchers all on a first come first serve basis.
The program founded in 2009, has already been started in twelve other states with around 475,000 training vouchers already given away.
In order to get a voucher you must bring proof of your ‘legal right to work’ such as a Social Security card or passport and a photo identification to a One-Stop center. To locate the One-Stop center nearest you, go to www.servicelocator.org.
Once you have your voucher in hand go to Microsoft’s ‘Elevate America’ Website to begin.
