The Apple iOS 4.3 Software Update is now available and can be installed by simply connecting your compatible iPhone, iPod, and iPad device(s) to your computer running iTunes. This is a free minor release of the iOS 4.x operating systems for select portable Apple devices.

Enhancements to this version of iOS include:

• AirPlay Enhancements which allows the user to wireless stream content from their device to their Apple TV device,
• Improved Safari performance,
• iTunes Home Sharing which allows the user to play their iTunes library on their portable devices from anywhere on their network,
• A change to the way the iPad Side Switch works,
• Personal Hotspot.

This update is only available on the iPhone 3GS, iPhone GSM, iPod Touch 3rd Generation, iPod Touch 4th Generation, iPad, and iPad 2.
