Cryptome.org is a website that recently hit my radar when they were ordered by Microsoft to remove information from public view. When the big boys like Microsoft and Apple put someone in the cross hairs I normally pay notice and try to find out what the deal is.
In this case, Cryptome.org publishes documents that may come from questionable sources or may not necessarily be for general consumption. I gathered a few documents that were labeled “Law Enforcement Only” and have put together a spreadsheet that compares what data is stored about you.
I think this information is very valuable and all of us should take note what companies store about us. Not so much for what they can or will release to law enforcement, not in the least, but what they may lose should systems be breached and your data lost.
Sorry if the data is truncated, I tried to fit it in the space provided.
